Loans and reservations
Reservations will continue to be active throughout the Christmas vacation and books may be recalled.
If you are leaving campus over the vacation:
- Please return any books you don’t need as they may be requested by other students.
- If you have requested books and they haven’t arrived, please cancel the request on NUsearch to give others access.
- We will email you to let you know when you need to return your books, so please check regularly.
- Requested books will be due back within seven working days. There will be a £1 a day charge for late returns up to a maximum of £10 per item.

Our Library staff can help you to cancel any reservations you no longer need.
