For my final year major project, I have developed Elevrack – a car-mounted bike rack system designed to simplify the process of transporting bikes, particularly for users of heavier bikes like e-bikes, and those who struggle with the lifting demands of traditional systems.

Elliott Siviter

Hello, I’m Elliott, thanks for checking out my project! I am 3rd year Product Design and Manufacture (BEng) Student at the University of Nottingham. I grew up in London, which often surprises people given that I had the pleasure of serving as the Mountain Bike Captain for the university's cycling society. I’m a keen sports enthusiast and love getting involved in activities like cycling, surfing, climbing, tennis, and more.

At school, I really enjoyed Design and Technology, but I didn’t have the chance to take it at A-level. Instead, I studied Physics, Maths, and Economics – a combination that eventually led me to discover my passion for design at Nottingham.

Through my degree, I’ve developed a strong interest in CAD and prototyping, and I’m particularly excited about pursuing a career in sports equipment or automotive design engineering.

One of my most notable projects involved designing and prototyping a functional chain tensioner for full suspension bikes. Feel free to explore more of my work in my portfolio linked below!
