As artificial intelligence (AI) becomes more prevalent in our daily lives and is integrated across a multitude of areas the demand for AI learning is also growing. This Summer School explores the fundamental concepts of AI and how these can be implemented in a business/entrepreneurship context.

Students were given an introduction into AI and a brief history of its impact across various industries, utilising case studies to support. AI creativity and innovation were explored through a structured marketing scenario, including new product/service development and strategy. The impact of AI on the financial sector was discussed, including an AI problem scenario to allow students to utilise AI to assist in solving accounting issues within a simulation. The course project was introduced within the first Entrepreneurship session, an interactive experience using the Ingenuity Process, allowing students to come up with their own business idea to be further developed across the subsequent sessions. Industrial visits and master talks allowed students to see first-hand the application of AI in industry and speak  and network directly with AI entrepreneurs.

This visit wasn’t all business and no play. Students were able to enjoy British sporting sessions focused on football and cricket, as well as taking in a visit to Batman’s Wayne Manor during their stay. The programme concluded with a two night London visit before the group travelled home.
