Starting 2007, the School of the Built Environment is due to participate fully in the University of Nottingham in Ningbo |
The Centre for Sustainable Energy Technologies (CSET) will carry out high quality research in renewable and sustainable technologies, building on the work already commenced at the School of the Built Environment in Nottingham. CSET also aims to attract funding from outside sources, run training programmes and short courses and participate in network and public awareness activities.
In the CSET, several Masters courses will be offered, and there will be research opportunities for PhD students in topics such as energy efficient technology, renewable energy technology, sustainable transport, low-energy high-rise buildings, low energy housing, hydrogen systems, etc.
