Getting involved in the community
Your Students’ Union run the Student Volunteer Centre (SVC) and offer a huge range of volunteering opportunities. They can help you make the most of your time at University and you can get involved with something you love doing.
Over 3,800 volunteers got involved last year in a wide range of activities. The SVC supports around 100 projects, as well as one-off events and activities on campus and in the local community.
Volunteering is flexible and you can fit it around your timetable. It's also a great way to meet new people, develop skills and have fun! There are one-off opportunities, ongoing placements and the chance to get involved in student-led projects.
For more information on volunteering, please contact the Student Volunteer Centre.
