Things to do before you join us

There are various tasks you need to complete before you join us to make your induction as streamlined as possible.

Pay your accommodation fees

You need to have paid your first instalment fees before the start date of your licence.

Register for your university card

You need this to access your hall and other buildings such as libraries and sports facilities, and to use hopper buses. It will also be your meal/flexible lunch card.

Information for Winter arrivals 2023/24

Moving to Nottingham to start your studies? Make sure you follow any pre-arrival instructions from your accommodation provider. If you are arriving before your accommodation contract start date, please contact your accommodation provider directly.

Order bedding packs

If you want to purchase a basic bedding pack, you need to book via the online store before you arrive - you will need your student ID.

Organise your kitchenware 

You can bring your own mugs, drinks and snacks as you will have pantry facilities for hot drinks, microwave meals and snacks, and a fridge in your room.
