Once you arrive at the University of Nottingham, you will need to log on to our campus Wi-Fi (eduroam) using your university email address and password. Connecting to eduroam will automatically complete your in-person registration.

Complete in-person registration:

  1. Go to 'Wi-Fi' settings and select 'eduroam'
  2. When prompted for a username, enter your university email address (not your personal email). Your university email address was provided to you when you activated your university IT account
  3. Enter your university password

For eduroam, your username is your university email address:

  • undergraduate and postgraduate taught students this is username@nottingham.ac.uk.
  • postgraduate researchers and associates this is firstname.lastname@nottingham.ac.uk

Starting your studies off campus

If you course doesn't start at a University of Nottingham campus (such as Lincoln Medical School), please complete the virtual in-person registration form

 

You must connect to eduroam at any of the following locations:

  • University Park Campus buildings
  • Jubilee Campus buildings
  • Sutton Bonington Campus buildings (excludes halls of residence)
  • Queens Medical Centre (B floor Medical School only)
  • Royal Derby Hospital (Medical School building only)
  • Nottingham City Hospital (Clinical Sciences building only)
  • Any on-campus halls of residence excluding Sutton Bonington halls.

If you live off campus or in private halls/accommodation, you will need to come on to campus for your in-person registration to be confirmed.

 

Check you have completed registration

Once you have completed both in-person and online registration, you will receive an email to your university email account to confirm your registration is complete. Please refer to our registration deadlines to ensure you complete your registration on time.
