Once you arrive at the University of Nottingham, you will need to log on to our campus Wi-Fi (eduroam) using your university email address and password. This will confirm your in-person (on-campus) registration.

To connect:

  1. Go to 'Wi-Fi' settings and select 'eduroam'
  2. When prompted for a username, enter your university email address (not your personal email).  This information would have been provided when setting up your university IT account.
  3. Enter your university password

For eduroam, your username is your university email address:

  • undergraduate and postgraduate taught students this is
  • postgraduate researchers and associates this is

Getting connected


You should log in within the first 3 weeks of your course start date. We will then complete your in-person registration.


You must connect to eduroam at any of the following locations:

  • University Park Campus buildings
  • Jubilee Campus buildings
  • Sutton Bonington Campus buildings (excludes halls of residence)
  • Queens Medical Centre (B floor Medical School only)
  • Royal Derby Hospital (Medical School building only)
  • Nottingham City Hospital (Clinical Sciences building only)
  • Any on-campus halls of residence excluding Sutton Bonington halls.

If you live off campus or in private halls/accommodation, you will need to come on to campus for your in-person registration to be confirmed.


Check you have completed registration

Once you have completed both online and in-person (on-campus) registration, you will receive an email to your university email account to confirm your registration is complete.
