What happens if I get locked out?

Forgot your key? It happens! Visit the on-site LUNA reception team during office hours and they’ll get you back into your room. If you’re locked out outside of these hours, just call the emergency number listed in your welcome pack. Please note that there may be a charge for out-of-hours assistance.

Is contents insurance included?

Yes – contents insurance is already included in your rent, so there’s no need to arrange this separately.

How do I connect to the WiFi?

WiFi is provided through ASK4 and is included in your rent. You’ll just need to set up an account with ASK4 when you arrive. Full instructions are available in your welcome pack and at reception.

How do I report a maintenance issue?

Maintenance requests are submitted via the LUNA app, which you’ll be guided through in your welcome pack. Need help? The reception team is happy to assist.

How do I receive post and parcels?

Letters will be delivered to your mailbox in reception. For parcels, the reception team can accept them on your behalf during office hours (9am–5pm, Monday to Friday). You’ll receive a notification when it’s ready to collect. Outside of these hours, you’ll need to meet the courier at the entrance.

Can I personalise my room?

Yes – you’re welcome to make your room feel like home! You can put up photos and decorations, but please avoid anything that might damage walls or furniture. If in doubt, check with the LUNA reception team.

Is cleaning included?

Residents are responsible for cleaning their own rooms and kitchens. Communal building areas are professionally cleaned. If you'd like additional cleaning services, speak to the LUNA team for recommendations.

Can I bring a bicycle?

Yes – there’s secure bike storage available on-site. Just note that bicycles aren’t covered under the building’s insurance, so personal cover is recommended.

Is there a gym at Bridgeside?

While there isn’t a gym on-site, all LUNA residents at Bridgeside have access to the University of Nottingham Jubilee Sports Centre and gym, just a short walk away.

Can I bring a TV?

TVs are provided in studios and shared kitchen areas. If your room doesn’t include one and you’d like to bring your own, you’re welcome to – just remember that watching live TV or BBC iPlayer requires a TV licence.

Yes – you’re welcome to have guests stay occasionally. We just ask that guests are considerate of fellow residents and follow the property’s guidelines. For overnight stays, please check with the reception team.

Can I stay in my room during the holidays?

Do I need to move my belongings out during holidays?

Is early luggage storage available?

Unfortunately, there isn’t a luggage storage facility on-site. However, the reception team may be able to recommend nearby services.
