I am passionate about exploring how storytelling and memory shape the spaces we inhabit. I focus on creating designs that connect people to place through meaningful experiences. I value sensitive materiality and cultural context, aiming to craft environments that encourage reflection, intimacy, and a deep sense of belonging.

The Cordelia

Cordelia is conceived as a living story—a space where architecture brings to life the magic of marionettes and performance.

Through studio sessions, I learned the importance of contextuality—how design must respond thoughtfully to cultural and physical surroundings. Inspired by Liverpool’s Giants, the project unites a theatre, gallery, and hotel into a cohesive cultural experience. The building unfolds as a stage, revealing delicate puppets suspended within enclosures, while luxury rooms offer views of the city and the River Mersey, connecting guests to the urban rhythm and natural flow beyond.

Movement through Cordelia is articulated and poetic, creating connections between people, place, and memory. More than a structure, it acts as a vessel for emotion—where stories extend beyond words, and the line between performer and audience softly blurs. Cordelia celebrates craft, culture, and community, offering a timeless yet vibrant space that invites all to become part of its unfolding tale.
