The Product Design and Manufacture MEng course is our 4-year undergraduate master’s programme which combines design, manufacturing and innovation. It covers the same skills as our Product Design and Manufacture BEng course, but students gain additional knowledge and understanding of technical detailing and manufacturing. This is particularly useful for students who are interested in working in the product design and/or manufacturing industries.

Students undertake a major design project in the final term of their fourth year, along with a technical review of a manufacturing company. Here you can see this project work (minus the technical specifications which detail the technical considerations of their design and indicate which material and manufacturing processes have been used to make the product).
