Guest tickets

Each graduating student attending a ceremony is entitled to two free guest tickets as long as you registered to attend by 12 noon on 13 June.

Guest tickets will be issued in the form of wristbands which will allow each guest entry to the ceremony hall. All tickets and guest wristbands will be issued as part of the student check-in process on the day of your ceremony.

Children under the age of two can sit on the lap of the accompanying adult and don't require their own ticket.

 

Extra guest tickets

There may be the option to purchase extra guest tickets in person on the day of your ceremony. See the table below for availability.

Important information:

  • The guest ticket sales stand will open at 8.30am each day, except on Wednesday 23 July, when it will open at 9.30am.
  • Tickets can only be purchased on the day of your ceremony.
  • Extra guest tickets cost £24 each and live stream tickets cost £7.50 each. Payment can only be made by card.
  • Extra tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and are not limited per student, except for the quiet ceremony (see below).
  • For those attending the quiet ceremony, only one additional guest ticket can be purchased on the day of your ceremony due to the limited size of the venue.
  • Tickets are non-transferable and are for your use only. It is your responsibility to purchase the correct tickets for your ceremony. See our terms and conditions (1.5) for more information.

Live stream tickets

The ceremonies will be streamed live on the day, and live stream tickets may be available to purchase for guests to watch the event in the screening room at East Midlands Conference Centre on University Park Campus. Tickets will cost £7.50 each and include a celebratory drink and sweet treat. Tickets may be available to purchase on the day of your ceremony. See the table above for availability.

The live stream is also free to view on our website.
