Honorary Graduates

Every year, the university awards a number of honorary degrees to exceptional individuals who merit special recognition for their outstanding achievements and contributions to their chosen fields and to society as a whole.

An honorary degree is one of the highest honours that the University of Nottingham bestows and is reserved for those whose achievements are of such distinction that they provide inspiration to our graduates. Nominees will typically have achieved national or international standing in their chosen field. Their actions will reflect and reinforce the University of Nottingham's values and through their relationship with the university they will continue to be an integral part of our community.
