Sutton Bonington Sports Centre

The sports centre at the University's rural Sutton Bonington Campus was opened in 2008.

The sports centre can be found opposite the campus's main building, on College Road.

It provides student and staff members with the opportunity to try a wide variety of different sports and physical activities

As well as being home to the Sutton Bonington Sports Clubs, we also offer a variety of fitness classes and 1-2-1 fitness training opportunities.

Please note that the centre will be closed all day on Thursday 26th July 2012

  • Synthetic Artificial Turf Pitch

  • Floodlit Grass Training Area
  • Football Pitch
  • Rugby Pitch

Sports clubs

Competitive sport at the Sutton Bonington Campus is at inter-hall level. The Sutton Bonington Students' Guild runs several sports clubs including:

  • Rugby Union
  • Football
  • Netball
  • Mixed Hockey
  • Basketball
  • Karate
  • Running
  • Cricket
