The University of Nottingham has been proactive in developing disability sport over a number of years.
We are one of a small number of Universities who actually employ a Disability Sport Officer.
Whether you want to participate for fun, fitness, achieving your personal best or even compete in the Paralympic Games we will do our best to support you in your ambitions.
We work closely with the Student Union and Student Support Services to deliver an inclusive sporting programme for everyone at the University.
Students who have a disability or long term medical condition may be entitled to a 50% reduction in membership fees.
If you have a disability or long term medical condition you should contact the disability support team for a referral to the sports department. Personal assistants and carers of students with a disability will be admitted free to the different sports centres and swimming pool when accompanying someone who has a disability.
