We also have a UoN Sport Staff Golf society which has been running since 2000.

It is open to golfers of all standards - no handicap required to join.

The club plays 9 organised competitions on local courses a year (about once a month from April to November) all within 1 hours drive of the University.

The emphasis of the society is to provide friendly competition, having food & 18 holes of golf at each event. Generally the cost to play in one of these events as a member of the society is £40, payable on the day, which includes an amount towards a wide range of prizes available for winning on any of these days.

Anyone wishing to give the society a ‘trial go’ can play as a guest at any event for a cost of usually £3 more than members. Annual membership to join the society is just £20, which gets you season long discounts & access to all the society info & administrative website.

For further information please contact the society secretary Martin Truman on 07758 229188 or 0115 974 9049.
