What is Classic Club?

If you are 50 years +, the Classic Club is a great way to stay active, fit and healthy whilst meeting new people from the local community.

All classic club members will be able to book swimming sessions Monday to Friday between 8:30am-12pm, giving you more opportunities to swim throughout the week.

Classic Club members can pre-book swimming sessions up to 7 days in advance either online, at reception or by calling 0115 748 7000.

Increased swimming provision during school holidays

Classic Club members can enjoy extended swimming hours during the School Summer holidays:

• Wednesday 2nd January 2024 - Friday 4th January 2024
• Monday 12th February 2024 - Friday 16th February 2024
• Tuesday 2nd April 2024 - Friday 12th April 2024
• Tuesday 28th May - Friday 31st May 2024 

During these times, Classic Club members can book between 8:30am and 5pm for the £4.

Pool accessibility

We kindly request that all users use the main David Ross Sports Village reception to access the building. Please click here for the route to the swimming pool.

However we do recognise that some customers with a disability or long-term medical condition may find this arrangement challenging. With that in mind, alternative entrance through the side doors closest to the swimming pool via swipe card may be arranged.
