The Teaching and Learning Group was founded in September 2021 to bring together colleagues from across the School of Law with an interest in legal teaching, learning and pedagogical research.
Since its inception, we have held over 30 events and discussed a plethora of teaching and learning related issues including methods of assessment, the provision of feedback, encouraging student engagement, the benefits of global engagement activity as part of a law degree and the transition process for students moving from school to higher education. In addition, the group supports its members with ongoing research projects, provides a forum for the development of new research ideas and disseminates key information to its members on additional teaching and learning related events being run at the University of Nottingham and across the wider higher education sector.
